Artist's Description
I met Genevieve at my one man show in Chicago. She is a fashion student at SAIC and will soon graduate. I was stuck by her peaches n' cream complexion and her amazing talent. Genevieve will certainly be heard from in the world of fashion. I painted the fabric swatch but used real thread and needle to "sew" it to the canvas.

A masterpiece! I love how you did her hair!

And how neatly you sew. I'm sending you some worn pants to mend! I wouldn't have thought to add the fine touch of the real cloth there. That's one major difference between your skillful imagination and techniques and my grouping around (probably in real life, too!). Peaches and cream is really accurate for her complexion, and you create that hair! also so well!, and that corner is a fine stroke of the imagination as well as the brush! Thank you for giving her to us, Kevin.
