Description
I met Irene at Naima’s restaurant in Chelsea, NYC. My entire family, plus Erin and Shannon were there for the Tina Blondell art opening. Brad, Shannon and I stopped in for a cool drink before the show. Irene came up to us and was trying on Brad’s sunglasses. I had to have that shot. What a 1000-watt smile. Irene is from Canada and she is a modern dancer living and working in New York.

You see every detail and choose carefully which ones you use to make your visual statements, and your sense of humor, or maybe irony, comes through over and over. It's not about you just copying a face accurately, it is infusing that face with the characteristics that proclaim its owner the individual he or she is. At least, that's what I see.
