My philosophy is simple: Composition, Story, Elegant Line. "If you find the elegant line, your work will be lyrical." I produce works in pencil, acrylic, watercolor, found objects, and digital photography. I completed a Painting Intensive at the San Francisco Art Institute, studying with world renown Israeli artist Larry Abramson and at at the Ox-Bow School of the Art Institute Chicago under Phil Hanson and Michelle Grabner. My work is hanging in private collections throughout the United States and Europe. In 2009 I received the Tony Award, a traveling art award honoring individual artists on Fine Art...

Very nicely done, Kevin. Getting to spend 2 weeks with your son--priceless! My father died when I was a small child and it is my feeling we were cheated and his death was one of the cruelest, most profound events to hit all of us--we were all children. Father worked like a mule and never took time away from our ranch. A week-end here and there to go to the Bighorns or Yellowstone Park was the height of our summers in Wyoming. A 2 week vacation would be unheard of. Your simple ball cap and nice story have evoked a swarm of thoughts and memories.
