Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. This is from a photo of Jillian Swoyer just after her graduation from Kansas U. She was meeting Cromwell for the first time. Jilly is the daughter of the late Dr. Tom Swoyer and Jean (Swoyer) Shugart.
About Kevin Callahan
My philosophy is simple: Composition, Story, Elegant Line. "If you find the elegant line, your work will be lyrical." I produce works in pencil, acrylic, watercolor, found objects, and digital photography. I completed a Painting Intensive at the San Francisco Art Institute, studying with world renown Israeli artist Larry Abramson and at at the Ox-Bow School of the Art Institute Chicago under Phil Hanson and Michelle Grabner.
