Just over the border from Illinois in eastern Iowa early on a rainy October morning. Stopped for gas and coffee and saw this scene across the field. I didn't realize there was a hawk on the barn until after I downloaded the photo.

I produce works in pencil, acrylic, watercolor, found objects, and digital photography. I completed a Painting Intensive at the San Francisco Art Institute, studying with world renown Israeli artist Larry Abramson and at at the Ox-Bow School of the Art Institute Chicago under Phil Hanson and Michelle Grabner. I earned my BFA from Drake University in Des Moines, IA. My studies included an emphasis in painting and printmaking.
