Description
A couple of years ago I was in the Women's Health Surgical Center when I observed this couple. She is from Jamaica (obvious from the lilt in her voice) and very pretty. I wanted to do a work of her alone. When I snapped this shot I immediately saw the concern between husband and wife and the aura that quite literally held them together. At that moment, for them, there was no one else in the entire world. I completed this painting at OxBow in Michigan and I used a watercolor wash style with acrylic paints.
